New Skid Mounted Generators "Gas Engines" at BED-1 Site - approx. 2.5 MW + synchronization with existing gas engines

BADR Petroleum Company "BAPETCO" operates "BED-1", an oil and gas production field, located 90 km south of Alamien - Egypt. BAPETCO planned to expand the power generation capacity at BED-1 by purchasing two new skid-mounted gas driven engines generators (total of 2.5 MW approximately). The tender was submitted by Western Desert Operating Pet Co. "WEPCO" on behalf of BAPETCO. EGYPTROL, as the contractor engineer for Egyptian Mainetenace Company "EMC", has successfully carried out all the engineering design works for the project. The project was successfully commissioned and operated in 2018.
