EGYPTROL Success Story with Our partners AC Boilers S.P.A. with the support of EGYPTROL s Boiler Mechanical Commissioning and Operation Team have completed the Performance Test on heavy fuel oil of the third unit of South Helwan Power Plant 3 x650MW Supercritical.
The plant is owned by Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company UEEPC an affiliate of Egyptian Electricity Holding Company EEHC and the Owner s Engineer is PGESCo.
This achievement represents the final completion of a remarkable commissioning working path we have shared with AC Boilers S.P.A that was started in April 2018.

EGYPTROL is proud of its combined cycle power plants commissioning and operation team and the cooperating ALTOUKHI projects team Together the two teams had confronted many challenges during the project execution up to the current stage of being ready for the Contract Close-Out by the plant owner SEC targeted within days 23 March 2020 in spite of the international and local challenges of fighting the virus Covid 19 pandemic.
EGYPTROL signed the contract with ALTOUKHI in Nov 2017 to conduct the commissioning and operation activities of the project The combined commissioning EGYPTROL and construction ALTOUKHI teams efforts succeeded in synchronizing the 147 MW STG to the Saudi grid in Aug 2018 Since then EGYPTROL is cooperating with ALTOUKHI in operating the steam generation part of the plant.
By reaching the Contract Close-Out EGYPTROL shall demobilize its staff to EGYPT once the current flights' suspension is over.

EGYPTROL Congratulates AC Boilers for the first synchronization of South Helwan super critical, dual firing, power plant "Unit 1" on December 10,2018. EGYPTROL is proud to be part of the team supporting AC Boilers in boiler mechanical systems commissioning and boiler operation through a lump sum contract and with a team of over 30 professional engineers and technicians. We look forward to continued success with the synchronization of Units 2 and 3.
One of EGYPTROL's success stories during the year 2018 is Hail Power Plant 1X147MW (conversion to combined cycle 3x3x1) project. Al-Toukhi assigned EGYPTROL as the fully responsible commissioning and operation contractor for the plant on November 16, 2017. EGYPTROL has successfully provided the full commissioning management and staffing for the commissioning and operation activities until achieving STG first synchronization on August 11, 2018. EGYPTROL team congratulates Al-Toukhi for this achievement and look forward to future cooperation between the two partners.

KEPCO - KPS in Consortium with "TAQA Power JV" have submitted their technical and commercial proposal as a consortium, for the Full Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services of the three "mega-projects" power plants of Beni Suef, Burullus, and New Capital. "TAQA Power JV" is a Joint Venture between TAQA Power www.taqa.com.eg/power.html, EGYPTROL and EMC (Egyptian Management Consultants) www.emc-egypt.net
