MOHAMAD ZAKI

Founder and Managing Director

Mr. Mohamad Zaki, EGYPTROL's Founder and Managing Director, has over 35 years of experience in power plants with PGESCO, BECHTEL, GILBERT COMMONWEALTH, SADELMI, DAELIM, ELECTROWATT and EEA (Egyptian Electricity Authority).

Mr. Zaki's experience includes project management, detailed engineering, design review, start-up support, operation and maintenance (O&M), as an Owner, a Contractor, an Engineer and a Consultant.

During his career with PGESCo, Mr. Zaki completed several overseas assignments in Bechtel's headquarters in the USA as well as a special assignment in Libya, where he was directly involved in the construction of several of Libya's power plants, water desalination plants and overhead transmission lines.

Mr. Zaki holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo Egypt, and MBA from Colorado State University - USA and is a licensed Consultant Electrical Engineer in Egypt since 2002.
